Work has commenced on a new £50M Port Development on the shores of Loch Ryan. The project is set for completion early summer 2011. The new passenger terminal and associated buildings are being constructed on a 26 acre site of reclaimed land 5 miles north of the existing terminal in Stranraer. The location of the new port will shorten the journey time of passenger for their onward journey.
